Disappointment is what I felt this morning when I heard the news that Barack Obama had not won the State of Texas. I am a registered Independent but for the first time ever voted in the Democratic Primary because I believe that Barack is the best candidate. I am deeply disappointed that Hillary Clinton is still in the race. She is such a polarizing figure that I don't see a way for her to unify the country - she can't even unify the Democratic Party and she has Bill Clinton as her Number One backer.
If Hillary Clinton wins the Democratic nomination for President, I will not vote for her. My first choice is Barack Obama. If Barack isn't the Democratic nominee, I'll vote for former Naval Officer John McCain.
