Once the hoop-la of President-Elect Obama passes, the important work begins. It is one thing to run a successful campaign but I'm afraid it is quite another to run a country. I have confidence that President-Elect Obama will give every bit of himself during his term in office. But he is only a single figure in what is a complex web of government, business, and public interests. I have faith that he will surround himself with highly skilled individuals from every section of the population. Let us hope that the Judicial and Legislative branches of the federal government follow the lead of the Executive branch and become as transparent as possible.
